Dear colleagues!

The State Institute of Economics, Finance, Law, and Technology is pleased to invite you to the International Conference on ‘The Impact of German Thought on the Development of the Russian Economy, Culture and Law’ to be held 13 April, St. Petersburg, Russia. Building on the success of the activities of Association of German and Russian Economists (Dialog e. V.) this conference seeks to consolidate and expand the multifarious dimensions, discourse and discussions through a creative sharing of ideas, research and practice.

We welcome academics, practitioners, doctoral students, policy makers, representatives of business and non-governmental organizations to submit proposals for the participation in this conference.

Conference themes include but are not limited to:

• Impact of German economic thought on the development of the Russian economy
• Reception of the elements of German law within the Russian legal system
• Impact of the formative ideas of German philosophers on Russian philosophy
• Intercultural voices from research, practice, and theory

The participation is free of charge. All the selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

Important dates

• Abstract Submission Deadline: 30 March 2016
• Notification of Acceptance: 5 April 2016

The proposals might be submitted in Russian, German or English.
